But before you get into that, the first thing you are going to want to do is to build your Quora profile. This is where your name, business, and any other information are going to be.
When you are active on Quora, people will be able to click your name and go onto your profile page. So make sure that you have written a good description with relevant links to your business.
That is a great way to start building brand awareness and ensure that you can be found by Quora readers.
One of the most unprofessional things you could do is have an empty profile page so don’t make that mistake.
Boosting Views By Answering Questions on Quora
If you are new to the Quora platform, then answering questions on Quora is going to be the best way for you to start.

You are probably wondering how answering questions are going to help you build traffic?
Well, the great thing about Quora is that you are able to add links into your answers and that will allow people to head over to your website.
So if you write great answers that will entice people to find out more about you or about the topic, they will most likely click your link to find out more.

If you have never been on Quora and you just go and start adding links to your answers, then you are going to get blocked by Quora.
What you want to do is just give good, well-thought-out answers for a couple of weeks first with no links at all.

So I recommend that you wait a bit until you start getting a couple of thousand views on your content monthly before starting your own Quora space.

The main reason people like the idea of sharing their content on Quora is because it is free traffic.
Most beginners do not have a budget for ads so it is nice to have a place where you can communicate freely and get some views on your content at the same time.
However, most people do not know that Quora is a goldmine for marketers who know their target audience.

Is Quora Good For Link Building?
If you are looking to get a lot of backlinks from Quora then you are in for a rude awakening.
Quora is not good for backlinks.
Matter of fact, according to Ahrefs, Quora doesn’t even allow for certain bots to crawl their website so the links are not even recognized by most SEO tools.
So do not go onto Quora thinking that you are going to be able to raise your domain authority through backlinks because this is simply not going to be the case.
How Quora Can Help In SEO?
So if Quora won’t give you backlinks, then how is it going to help your SEO?
Well, the main way is going to be through Google E-A-T.
No, I am not talking about actually eating food.
Google E-A-T stands for Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. This is what Google uses to determine how strong of a domain you have and where you should be placed in the algorithm.
If you have a good and active profile on Quora, then this is one way to build up your EAT. All Google needs to see is that you have some kind of authority online and that people can trust you.
This is also a reason why a lot of YouTubers start websites and are able to grow them fairly quickly.

I personally love Quora and have been a member on the platform for years now. Way before I started this website.
Not only has it helped me grow my brand but it has been one of my favorite places to go to for content creation.
Quora is filled with people who are looking for answers and it is a great place to look for new content ideas.
But please treat the forum with respect.
If you are looking for backlinks, you are not going to get them.
You have to be willing to put in some effort to be able to really reap the benefits from being on a place like Quora.
